what do I need for a wedding?
I am engaged(kind of), i know that sounds weird but me and my boyfriend aren’t doing anything traditional so we basically agreed to marriage more then the traditional he proposes i accept deal. we’ve been living together for 6 years. Unlike most people around me who get engaged and then go into debt to get married i have a more practical approach. we have agreed that we do not want to get married until I am financially secure but I have still been planning our marriage. We know we want to get married at fantasy farm(in toronto) and I have a wedding dress(simple, elegant and cheap-from goodwill) and I have a partial guest list. I am just wondering other than the obvious(flowers, wedding people(aka, best man, flower girl etc), music, photography and so on) what are stuff I would need to know about planning a wedding?

You will need an officiant, marriage license, rings, food/beverages, invitations, flowers, decorations, photography, music/dj, honeymoon, hair/makeup, etc.
Basically after you review everything you could get for the wedding then you can figure out what you want and can afford for the wedding. It can be an extremely simple affair or something extravagant. Just go over everything involved and decide what you really need.
