Destination help for future vacations?

I need to see the world. I have trips planned to multiple areas in Europe, including London with family, the Swiss Alps, and Italy… I don’t know exactly where in Italy yet, but that’s part of what I’m looking for help with. I want to go to Italy, Africa, Australia- I want to see things. I love photography and being able to take a picture and not edit it once, just let it be with it’s natural beauty. I want to go places where I can take pictures and see the beauty that’s left in the world, no more crowded city streets and honking taxi’s. I need your help to do that.

Take the Via Canada railway trip across the Canadian Rockies. See Vancouver, BC, first and then get a bedroom on the train and travel as far as the line goes. You won’t believe how beautiful it is. While in Vancouver, take the ferry across to the channel islands. Amazing. Visit Bouchard Gardens for the day and stay in a B & B. Incredible.

Then, take the California Zephyr/Amtrak from Chicago to the end of the line in San Francisco. Get the bedroom and be prepared to be dazzled by the scenery.

Go to the Tuscan region of Italy. Spend a couple of days in Rome, of course, then go to Umbria for relaxing and the most amazing scenery, food and wine you’ll ever experience.

Don’t overlook Athens and the Greek Islands. Wonderful and absolutely necessary to understand our beginnings, as is Rome.

There is a darling little island town called Niagara on the Lake, near Niagara Falls. It is charming and beautiful. See the Falls from the Canadian side, but stay in the town of Niagara. Lovely. Read the history of the Falls before you visit. It makes all the difference to really know what you are seeing.
