Question about photography laws (In terms of permissions and such)?
Now, i’m pretty sure that it is legal to photograph most people unless they tell you to stop, and the same for videos.
Does the same apply in schools? Could I just photograph or record anything unless someone asks me to stop? I live in Australia. Could you please give me some links to back up your answer?

First you do not have to stop photographing someone just because they tell you to, in a public place. It may be prudent but not legally required.
Schools are generally regarded as private property and you need permission of some sort to be on the premises. Each school has the right to set their own policy on photography in their grounds and buildings.
Really it is up to the headmaster of each school, so they are the people to ask.
