Should i switch back to windows from osx?
i brought an ibook a while ago on ebay( instead of a macbook because they were to expensive) and i really like osx and find it very useful for my photography . However im now looking for an upgrade however the price of the cheapest macbook is ridiculous at £900. I was consider buying a high spec laptop when windows 7 finally comes out any recommendations or ideas what to do
I still rate osx as an operating system so if i could use it i would but if windows 7 is a dramatic improvement. I would also rather be able to buy an alluminum macbook so it will keep its value better if i was to sell in the future
The cheapest MacBook is £719 and worth every penny. You can wait another year for Windows 7 to see if all of the bugs are smoothed out – just like they were supposed to be with the vista betas. If you are a photographer, a Mac would be best especially if you get Apeture. Snow Leopard is coming out this year, so you may want to wait to see how that turns out.
