For Photographers!! I am taking a class in b&w photography and have to choose a famous photographer……?

to research. But, it can’t be a wildlife/nature photographer, it has to be an artistic one that made his/her name by their style and focal point. ie: Ansel Adoms(?) Any suggestions?!?!

Try Mary Ellen Mark, Sally Mann, Sandy Skoglund, Man Ray, or Alfred Eisenstaedt. These are all my personal favorites, especially Sandy Skoglund. There are so many different artists to choose from, but Sandy actually creates installation art and photographs it. They are amazing.

Hmmm. After re-reading the question I see it’s a b&w class, still you should be able to use some of the other photographers I’ve listed. But I think Sandy has some b&w images–can’t remember for sure.
